    I got accepted to go to Franconia Sculpture park this summer. I’ll be an intern artist there, which means I’ll get to work for other artists there working on their sculptures, but also making my own work to be included in their catalog for 2010.

I can’t wait to get out of here for the summer. It’s been over 3 years since I’ve even considered a vacation. I think the closest I got was going to play base ball in Detroit this past August, but even during that trip I was sketching support systems for Gemini. I don’t have to worry about other people when I’m at Franconia.

I’ll still think about you, but you’re on your own kid. I’m going to be selfish for 3 months. Can’t save you in Minnesota. I’ll be back in August.
